Attleboro Area Football Hall of Fame

Inspired by the 50th Anniversary of the Attleboro/North Attleboro Thanksgiving Day rivalry, the Attleboro Area Football Hall of Fame was formed with the idea of establishing another Thanksgiving time football tradition; an annual induction ceremony honoring former players, coaches and supporters from Attleboro, North Attleboro and Bishop Feehan high schools. Over the span of 43 years since the first annual induction ceremony in November 23, 1971, 475 members have been selected to the HOF.

HOF got together with FJ Concepts to build a website for the organization to help bring their annual event onto the web. We set up a database to catalog the past hall of famers and making that information searchable for visitors to find the biography of the inductees through first/last name, school and year graduated. Members-only area is also set up for inductees to encourage members to sign up and participate in discussion.

Another component with the HOF is its partnership with the L.G. Balfour Foundation to award scholarships to graduating seniors at the three high schools. The website is designed to provide information on the scholarship recipients and also the latest press releases of the organization.

A separate mobile site is designed to ensure information are mobile friendly while keeping the searchbility of the hall of famers database.

We continue to work closely with the organization in maintaining the website and mobile site with new inductees and scholarship recipients up-to-date each year.
